EPA seeks to achieve sustainability in the operation of drinking water stations by installing a solar energy system as an alternative source to burning fuel that pollutes the environment and is considered expensive and sometimes unavailable. In this project, high-spec European technology equipment was installed from https://www.lorentz.de/ and the project was designed to be the first of its kind in northern Syria in terms of compatibility between mechanical equipment (pumps), electrical equipment and solar panels to achieve optimal operating conditions with the possibility of remote control and monitoring. A washing system was also added to the solar panels to obtain high efficiency in energy production.
Project Keys
- The project aims to provide a clean, sustainable and cheap energy source
- Installation of solar energy systems with a total capacity of 200 kilowatts, sufficient to operate the Western Foah water station
- Installation of control panels, and remote management system
- Installation of an automated panel washing system
